Project of a wooden church 10.4 by 10.4 m
The project of “Church 8” is a unique wooden building. The design consists of two diameters, the walls are made from 220 mm, the base of the dome is from 180 mm. The impression of monumentality is created with the relatively small size of the project itself. It takes into account and combines both elements of antiquity and modern requirements for the construction of traditional Christian churches.
Construction of the wooden church, area of 81.1 m²
The wooden building of “Church 8” is like frozen sublime music that can be felt in every detail. As you know, we have the same church in Kyiv in the Pechersk Lavra, only made in a different style. Now you don't have to travel that far. It is better to install this log temple in places with a small number of parishioners, or as an additional building to the main temple in order to increase the area. The view of this building is very beautiful. The shaped roof contributes to a more refined structure, the turrets and the bell tower are rather low, and will be more convenient for bell ringers. Families and close neighbors will gather here to celebrate major church holidays, to attend masses and simply pray. Due to the fact that the temple is small, it will look more comfortable, both inside and outside. The execution of the church from wooden materials makes it simpler, but creates a sense of the authenticity of the building. After all, in ancient times it was not possible to build everything from stone. And wooden temples were very popular, some have survived to this day, and cause great respect and awe.
