Construction technology from profiled timber
Profiled timber is produced by sawing grooves and spikes on logs using woodworking equipment. The manufacture of profiled timber is divided into several technological stages. First, high-quality raw materials are selected and calibrated according to the dimensions of the section, then compensation cuts are made, after which the material is dried. Vacuum drying deserves special attention, in which timber of any size is evenly dried up to 16% moisture content, which makes the wood completely stable, and high-quality. At the same time, relatively cheap cabin kits from profiled timber are assembled from it. After drying, the material is mechanically processed on four-sided machines to obtain a smooth surface from the front surfaces of the beam and connecting profiles from its other two sides. At the same time, we use the tongue-and-groove technology plus two compensation grooves. The height of the timber of our production is 150 mm. The thickness of the material can be in three sizes: 60 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm.
